Obviously the amount of heat that goes through one of these bulbs is high as anyone who has tried to change a blown bulb will find if they take the old one out after it has been used. Wacker PlateI had a few jobs as a young lad and one of them was a delivery driver for a plant hire company. On a daily basis I would be visiting numerous sites delivering concrete mixers, pressure washers and
Wacker Plates. The small types of plates were easy to move around but the larger items were heavy and you had to drag them into position. I remember thinking at the time, couldn`t the design be madde easier for people who needed to position their
Wacker Plate to the job face. All these years later and it would seem that somebody has had the same thought because you can now buy a
Wacker Plate that you can attach wheels to. This means that you can simply roll the plate into position when you are on site without straining and using up excess energy. The petrol plate still operates the sound and it has an impact depth of 20cm. When rubble needs compacting the plate will perform this task easily with its walk speed of 20-25 meters a minute. Maybe I should have patented a
Wacker Plate with wheels on it all those years ago when I used to deliver plant equipment to site.
